Franklyn has been a Florida resident since 1984 and has lived through 40+ hurricane seasons, multiple multi-day power outages, and enough close calls to have developed strong opinions about what actually works and what is marketing noise. He has 25+ years of experience in SEO and web publishing, which means he knows how to build resources people can actually find and use — not just content that looks good on paper.
He lives in Crystal River with his wife Tina and their dog Eli. Crystal River sits on the Gulf Coast in one of the most hurricane-vulnerable corridors in the United States. When Franklyn writes about preparing for extended power outages, he is writing about his own neighborhood.
Why We Built This
